On Wednesday, November 19, 2025 it's time again! At the nationwide study information day, you have the unique opportunity to get to know KIT in all its exciting and colorful facets and to find out about our Bachelor's degree programs:
You can expect exciting talks, real lectures, cool videos and guided tours behind the scenes of our research.
All of this is available on site at Campus South (mornings) and online (afternoons). Some events are also hybrid - i.e. on site and via livestream at the same time.
You will find the complete program online from mid-October. Simply put together your personal list of favorites in the app. For a few events, you will need to register in advance for reasons of space - you will find the relevant information directly in the program.
Throughout the day, you can ask your questions about degree programs, applications, stays abroad or other topics - at info talks and Q&As with students, lecturers and advisors.
We look forward to seeing you!
The heart of the Study Program Information Day at KIT is the Audimax (Straße am Forum 1, 76131 Karlsruhe). This is where your day will begin with the official welcome and opening programme. The central exhibition, where the faculties present their degree programmes and the central facilities of KIT, is also located in the foyer of the Audimax. Here, you can speak to students, lecturers and advisors directly to gain exciting insights into the wide range of teaching and research opportunities at KIT.
Further events will then take place across the entire campus. You can find all the information about the individual locations and programme items in the event app.
The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT, South Campus) is located in the centre of Karlsruhe and is easily accessible by public transport. Take the tram to the ‘Durlacher Tor/KIT-Campus Süd’ stop and you will reach the campus in just a few minutes.
You can use the bwtarif for your journey to the Study Information Day. You can find the exact departure times on the website of the Karlsruher Verkehrsverbund (KVV) or in the Deutsche Bahn timetable.
Further information on state-wide ticket promotions for Study Information Day can be found at studieninformationstag.de.
With our event app, all the information you need about the KIT Study Information Day is at your fingertips. From mid-October onwards, you can access the full programme and easily create your personalised favourites list. This allows you to plan your day as you wish and ensures you won't miss anything. Please note that registration is required for a few events due to limited space – you will find information about this directly in the programme. Download the app and design your Study Information Day to suit you!
Green Event BW is a sustainability strategy created by Baden-Württemberg that provides a set of criteria for assessing sustainable events. Every event, whether a conference, music festival or street party, can be organised in a way that protects the environment, conserves resources, protects the climate and considers social aspects. Even small steps can contribute to greater sustainability.
